This course provides detailed explanation on often complex areas of tax and estate planning. Many common problems arising in estate settlement are addressed with solutions to avoid and “fix” where possible, when client is still alive. Learn to identify and address potential asset distribution obstacles, while building credibility with and working together with a client’s other professional advisers. Focus areas include: Property titling, gift and estate tax compliance, property transfers, and trust taxation.

STRATEGIC ESTATE PLANNING II

This is an Intermediate to Advanced level content designed to provide in-depth knowledge for practical application of planning in the more complex areas of tax and estate planning. Participants will gain understanding of how to identify and define the 15 Areas of Estate Planning to assist clients in determining clear objectives to achieve their goals, while overcoming challenges like family dynamics, adapting to overcome tax implications using appropriate, compliant gifting, selling, and transferring assets using the most advantageous trust planning tools.

Prerequisite: Strategic Estate Planning I

STRATEGIC ESTATE PLANNING III

BUSINESS EXIT AND TAX PLANNING:

Course is designed to provide in-depth comprehension of business entities and the open complex planning challenges for business owners. In this Intermediate to Advanced level course, participants will learn through the teaching of experienced subject area experts, how the more advance tax and estate planning techniques are considered and applied when planning for business transition and succession. In addition to tax and governing compliance, over 500 combined business exit strategies will be discussed and relayed in real-life case studies. Topics include: 1042 ESOPs 831(b) captives, business entity valuation, and qualified and non-qualified plans.

Prerequisite: Strategic Estate Planning I and II
